And in other news, just weeks after the great Bibliophile of 2019 severely burned the interior

of the King Falls Library, the local community is coming together to donate their books, their

time, and making sure their favorite bookshack is an out of commission for the summer.

Ed Librarian Emily Potter explains,

It's a beautiful thing this community coming together in the face of such a big disaster

to make sure that the kids in our summer program don't miss out because well because of

another fire.

You may recall in late 2014 former head librarian Geraldine Kilpatrick started a small

fire in her overnight apartment, damaging the top floor of the library, pushing repairs

into spring of 2015 when the grand reopening was held.

While the circumstances are much different, the fire seems to have originated in the same

area.

Faulty wiring, the ordinary ghost of our 16th president, or was foul play a foot in our

precious town's library's halls.
