When you recorded Big, do you feel like that was what got you up and got you going?

Yeah, it was, let me tell you.

So, Big was recorded at maybe one of the lowest points in my life, right?

You know, so we're going through so much at my church.

We're going through so much in my personal life.

And I came on stage one Sunday, and literally they were singing a song. And I just walked

on stage and said, and it's going to be big. And then everybody started waving their hands. I didn't

think nothing of it. I finished preaching my sermon. Three days later, I get an inbox and it's like a

million, two million views on that one segment. And so I just picked up my phone and was like, hey, y'all, let's just turn it into a song. We're going to sing it at church. And lo and behold, I met an individual who was a radio promoter. And he told me, said, if you trust me, your life will never be the same. And to this day, I just always honor them because I just, you couldn't have told me, because I'm from Birmingham.

You know how that is, man. You know, like, I'm not from the A. I'm not from Nashville. I'm not from Houston. Right. The moment we are turned 17, they tell us if you're going to make it either go to Atlanta or go to Nashville, but you're not going to do it from here. Yeah. So to do it from Alabama and God do all this, man, I could have never thought all of it.

Do you always want to continue to do both, like music and ministry?

Yeah, I think, I'm going to say this and I think you're going to feel it more than anybody.

You know, like, you don't try to model. You know, you don't, you don't try to do commercials. You don't try. You're just being you. Yeah. And being you comes whatever. God puts so much in you. You just can't help it. Yeah. You know, it's almost, and people don't even realize it because outside is angel will be well, they're going to angel doing something. They don't even realize stuff fine you. Yes. You be minding your business and stuff fine. I'm going to be mine in my business. So for me, when it comes to this, I've always loved music. I was the little kid singing in the youth choir. I was I was the kid leading praise and worship, but I also love preaching. And so what the Lord told me is not either or it's both in. You know, there are people. I met this cat, man. He was like, man, I love your song amazing. He was like, man, I ain't into that church and that God stuff. But that song amazing. It came on the R&B station. It blessed me. And that's when the light bulb went off and said, no, gospel music is the only genre of music where the message plus the melody equals a miracle. So if I'm going to get them through music, I'm going to get them through music. If I'm going to get them through messages, I'm going to get them through messages. And here go to the crazy part, there are people who watch my messages who's never watched a sermon. They just get three videos off TikTok and be like, that was enough for me to keep going. So I'm going to keep doing all of it. Yeah, because I feel like your videos always go rival. Like, that's the first time I see you was like, I think it's on TikTok. And then they make your videos like black and white and they have you talk and it had words on it. And I feel like our generation like us seeing a three minute, a mini video, too many video, that gets our attention.

And that is like what grasped our attention.

So I feel like you're getting into so many different audiences.

When you have kids that are in the younger generation, was it easy to, like, I guess not inspire them to be not religious, but like to believe and, like, have faith and all that stuff?

Because as we're young, like, we go with the flow.

We don't know what's right, what's wrong.

We don't know how or which way to go.

But, like, when we're inspired by other people, I think that's important. And was it easy for you to inspire your kids to like be into it? Yeah. So I started as a youth pastor. So for me, I've always kind of had a heart for this generation. You know, so for me, everybody always, I never get one pastor was like, man, I need your social media guy because you'd be jumping.

And I told him, I said, well, I make all that on my phone. And he was blown away. But to me,
