In today's study, Chuck completes his teaching on the book of Ezekiel, chapters 33 through 35.

then shall they know that a prophet hath been among them. Ezekiel was the only man who said

that Jerusalem would be destroyed. All of the false prophets said that it would not be destroyed.

Well, the ballots have been counted, huh? The word of confirmation

has come, Jerusalem is destroyed. Ezekiel is thus declared to be the true prophet. So they're

without excuse, is the point. Okay, that brings us to chapter 34, the wicked shepherds.

The false prophets of Israel have now been shown to be liars because the destruction of Jerusalem

and prophets I by the reality.

And by the way, the concept of a shepherd here, it's an Old Testament phrase, you and I tend to think of Christ as the great

shepherd, the chief shepherd, that's valid, don't misunderstand me.

But we think of a shepherd as being a pastor, a spiritual leader, because Jesus is indeed

our spirit, but he's much more than that.
