In today's study, Dr. Missler completes his teaching on the Book of Revelation, Chapter 14. Another angel came out of the temple, crying with a loud voice to him that sat on the

cloud, thrust in the icicle and reap, for the time is come for thee to reap, for the harvest of the earth

is ripe. The word ripe there is misunderstood. You and I think of fruit. When it's ripe is the

time to eat it. The Greek term here implies that it's really withered. It's overripe. The time is late.

It's not, you're not trying to harvest in the sense of capturing it for its goodness.

You're harvesting because it's overripe.

And that's really what's hidden in the semantics here. For the time has come. In other words, it's high time.

It's time to do this. And so this is the big green light to go for it. Now you have the cloud.

This might be a good time just to review a little bit. What is this cloud? The Shikina, as we sometimes

call it. We followed them in the wilderness, of course, in Exodus.

It was also prominent with the falling of the manna in Exodus 16,

the giving of the law of twice, the first and second time.

It was present.

It filled the tabernacle, as you may recall.

It also was always hovering over the mercy seat.

It was there when the 70 elders were chosen in Numbers 11.

And it filled the temple so much the priest couldn't even officiate,

Solomon's Temple, when that time came, so forth.

And it finally departs from Israel very dramatically in the writings of Ezekiel.
