Summary

Daniel had the most incredible career imaginable; he was transported as a teenage captive to a pagan empire and became the primary confidante to the ruler of Babylon. When Babylonia was taken over by its enemies, he rose to the second or third position in the Persian Empire. There are only two people in the Bible other than Jesus Christ of which no evil is spoken, Joseph and Daniel. The book of Daniel is in two halves: the first six chapters are historical, which deal with the adventures and career of this remarkable man. The second six chapters are some of the most pivotal and important prophecies of the entire Bible. Without a clear understanding of the book of Daniel you will not understand the times in which we live. This study contains 16 hours of verse by verse teachings. chapter 12. So it's actually a short session. And we're

going to see in this segment the emergence of a world ruler, far beyond Antioch's epiphanies,

1:21.6

but one for whom he was a foreshadowing. We're going to understand there'll be a world religion, and

1:30.3

there are lots of misconceptions on what that world religion probably will be.

1:38.3

We're going to talk about a final climactic world war, a world ruler, a world religion, and a world war. But it's also

1:48.4

going to involve a time of tribulation whose focus is on Israel. It'll be worldwide, but the focus

1:56.2

is on Israel. But the good news is there's a deliverance at the end of that tribulation. There'll

2:03.5

be a resurrection and judgment and a reward of the righteous. And if you work really hard

2:13.4

to make yourself really righteous, you'll fail. You want to remember the wedding guest that brought his own garment was thrown out of the hall

2:25.3

because the custom was that the host provided the garment.

2:27.3

That was a tradition at that time that is used in an air parable.

2:32.3

The garment you want to be wearing is the righteousness of Christ
