In today's study, Chuck begins his teaching on the book of Daniel, chapter 11, verse 36 through Chapter 12.

So we're in session 14, the 12th chapter of Daniel, which is going to focus on the climax of all history.

This is the most comprehensive and detailed

prophecy of future events to be found anywhere in the Old Testament. And it's the climax, indeed.

We're going to take the last few verses of chapter 11, which tie right into the 13 verses of

chapter 12. So it's actually a short session. And we're

going to see in this segment the emergence of a world ruler, far beyond Antioch's epiphanies,

but one for whom he was a foreshadowing. We're going to understand there'll be a world religion, and

there are lots of misconceptions on what that world religion probably will be.

We're going to talk about a final climactic world war, a world ruler, a world religion, and a world war. But it's also

going to involve a time of tribulation whose focus is on Israel. It'll be worldwide, but the focus

is on Israel. But the good news is there's a deliverance at the end of that tribulation. There'll

be a resurrection and judgment and a reward of the righteous. And if you work really hard

to make yourself really righteous, you'll fail. You want to remember the wedding guest that brought his own garment was thrown out of the hall

because the custom was that the host provided the garment.

That was a tradition at that time that is used in an air parable.
