Summary

Isaiah was the most comprehensive of all prophets: his writing spans the entirety of history, from the creation of the world to the creation of “a new heavens and new earth.” No other prophet matches his majestic eloquence on the glory of God and the redemptive work and sufferings of the Coming Messiah, all the while making us clearly aware of God’s abounding Grace. 1:20.7	Well, that can mean lots of things.
1:23.3	What does the word extolled mean?
1:25.9	It means to be raised up.
1:29.1	And Jesus himself comments on what this means, strangely enough.

1:36.6	We exalt him in our praises.
1:37.8	But that's not, I don't believe, what he's talking about.
