They're going to unite the two parts of Israel that are widely misunderstood by many scholars, the reunion

of Judah and Israel.

The word of the Lord came again unto me saying, moreover, thou son of man, take thee one

stick.

And that word stick is actually a tree or wood, a staff.

It could be just a wooden tablet, if you will. Son, a man, take the one stick and write upon it for Judah and for the children of Israel,

his companions, then take another stick and write upon it, for Joseph, the stick of Ephraim,

if you will, and for all the house of Israel and his companions.

Now interesting, there are two sticks for Judah, that's the Southern Kingdom.

But notice it's not just for Judah and for the children of Israel, his companions.
