In today's study, Dr. Misler continues his teaching on the Book of Revelation, chapter 3, verses 1 through 6.

But if we talk about the denominational church, what seems to characterize them as we now with 2020 hindsight look back is what I'll call soft hermeneutical traditions

hermeneutics your theory of interpretation can be very tight very high you regard every letter

every word as god breathed or you can take it just sort of allegorically or thematically this is

sort of what it means I'll call that that soft. And as you can tell,

we hold to a very high, we believe that the Bible is the word of God. It doesn't contain the

word of God. It is the word of God. There's a big difference. Human editors don't decide what

that is. God does. And yes, there are translational issues, but in the original, we believe it's

inherent. And so that's one of the denominational churches increasingly tend to get soft

on their hermeneutics. Many of them, I'd say in fact most of them deny the millennial

reign of Christ that the Bible talks about. And I'm not speaking just of Revelation 20.

Most of what we know about the millennium is from Isaiah 65 in other places.

We'll deal with that when we get to Revelation 20 in detail, but most churches deny that.

That's one reason most churches abhor or certainly avoid the book of Revelation,

because they can't really deal with it.

And I spoke at a liberal arts college recently that the favors, they call themselves post-millennialists.

We are praying millennials, we believe there's really going to be a millennium.

Most churches believe there is no millennium.

This church believes we are in the millennium.
