For who maketh thee to differ from another?

And what hast thou that thou didst not receive?

Now, if thou didst not receive it, why dost thou glory as if thou hast not received it? In other words, it's a gift.

You didn't do anything to earn it.

God's given it to you.

No reason to be proud.

And yet how easy it is for us to start taking yourself seriously and to get, where there

is contention, there is pride, the scripture says, by the way.

Fulfill ye my joy.

This is Philippians 2.24.

Fulfill ye my joy, that ye may be like-minded, having the same love being of one accord of one mind.

Let nothing be done through strife or vain glory, but in lowliness of mind,

let each esteem other better than themselves. Look not every man on his own things, but every man also on the things of others.
