Thank you. Well, we're about to enter the Word of God, and we never do that without a word of prayer, so let's bow our hearts.

Father, we thank you for your word. We thank you for this opportunity to explore your word.

We do pray, Father, through your Holy Spirit, you would open these passages to our understanding

that we each might grow in grace and the knowledge of our coming king,

that we each might be more aware of just what it is precisely that you would have of us in the days ahead.

As we commit this hour and ourselves into your hands, in the name of Yeshua, our Lord, our king, our Savior,

Okay, we're exploring this unpronounceable name, Habakkuk, but we'll slip back to our Americanization of it. We call it Habakkuk. And we'll

start. We're going to have all three chapters tonight. It's a short little book, and we'll whip

through it reasonably

diligently, I think. But let's start. If you remember, if you've studied, learned the Bible
