Father, we thank you for this opportunity.

We thank you for your word.

We thank you for the very amazing privilege to partake of this.

And, Father, we would just pray that your Holy Spirit would open your word to our lives,

that we might grow in grace and the knowledge of our coming king,

in whose name we commit this hour and ourselves. Amen.

Gospel Mark, Chapter 3. You know, there's some, Mark's gospel, I think we've highlighted,

has some unique features. It records about half of Christ's miracles, found only in Mark

as the healing of the deaf and dumb man

in Chapter 7 and the healing of the blind man in Chapter 8.

Those occur only in Mark.

Of the 18 parables he records, two are peculiar, unique that is, to Mark's gospel.
