In today's study, Chuck completes his teaching on the book of Mark, chapter 4.

Music four. And with many such parables spake he the word unto them as they were able to hear it.

But without a parable, he spake not unto them. And when they were alone, he expounded all things to his disciples. So that's an echo of what we said before. It's also an expression that's amplified

in the Matthew account of Matthew 13, which is much more detailed than we're going to,

because he took them down in shorthand. We'll take a look at that. Now, this is actually

astonishing to realize he only spoke in public in parables.

That's because these occur after they had accused him of the unpardonable sin.

We'll talk about that.

We talked about that before.

And so the turning point was in Mark 3 in Mark's account in Matthew 12 in the Matthew

account.

And the big turning point, the milestone in his career is when they ascribed his actions

to Satan, he shifted gears.

He didn't speak in public except in parables.
