So you should not be surprised to see these things even today.

It's tragic that many well-meaning but untaught people tempt God, just

as Satan attempted the Lord in Matthew 4. We're to trust God not to tempt Him. And often

these dramatizations are really ways of tempting God. And then we get to the last two verses

that are the conclusion of the gospel. So then after the Lord had spoken to them, he was received up into heaven and sat on

the right hand of God.

That's all detailed in Acts chapter one, of course.

And they went forth and preached everywhere, the Lord working with them and confirming

the word with signs following amen. And I do suspect that that does end the gospel.

We together so far. Okay. The gospel of Mark parallels the great servant. His whole theme all the

way through was not his genealogy, was not a lot of other things, it was his servanthood,

if you will.

So that was his emphasis all the way through.

And that's why very little discourses, it's all action, action, action.
