Well, tonight I'd like to examine some of the unique blessings that you and I are blessed by and some things that you and I have

caused to be especially thankful for, but also to earnestly solicit your prayers relative to some of these blessings.

And some of our responsibilities for stewardship that he derives from these blessings.

And one of the questions that will emerge from our discussion tonight is do we really have here in America

a constitutional republic? That's the formal answer to people in the know. I mean, you know,

what are we? We're not really a democracy of the usual sense we are a constitutional

republic. Or are we a fascist state posing as one?

And if so, what are the implications for us as Christians?

Where do we as Christians stand concerning what some people would call political activism?

Now, how fashionable is today to argue that, you know, well, we really

weren't a Christian nation. Nonsense. Nonsense. We could go on, I won't concatenate a whole

list of these, I'll mention a few of them, but let's take one of the more important ones in 1776,

an interesting document was signed called the Declaration of Independence. How many have heard of

Okay, good. We hold these truths to be self-evident that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their creator. That's an interesting phrase you think about it. That's in the fundamental document creating this nation.
