Thank you. Well, I want to welcome you to welcome you to our study of the book of Luke.

We're in the 11th session looking at chapter 11.

And whenever we enter the Word of God, we want to always do that with

prayer. So let's borrow our hearts for our word of prayer. Father, we thank you for your word,

and we thank you for this precious gospel. We pray, Father, that through your Holy Spirit,

you would open these passages to us that it would be a practical benefit in our daily lives.

We pray, Father, you'd help us to better understand what you would have of us as a result

of these teachings.

As we commit this hour and ourselves into your hands, in the name of our coming king, Yeshua,

Okay, we're in the 11th chapter. It's primarily Jesus' instructions on a number of topics on prayer, Satan, hypocrisy, and the call to obedience. The gospel of Luke is quite a gospel.

It's orderly. He's very well organized, very straightforward, very complete.

Been very researched by skeptics and found to be historically accurate. Sir William Ramsey being the classic case of that.

Set out to disprove it and came to faith and authenticated the whole thing.

Luke is unique in that he speaks to us as Gentiles, and he will emphasize the non-Jewish

aspects of this, and it's very distinctive in contrast to the other three Gospels.
