Music Well, I want to welcome you to welcome you to session seven of our exploration of the Book of Acts, which we divide in two units, so we're in unit one, but we are in chapter 9 and 10 tonight. And so let's bow our hearts for a word of prayer. Father, we thank you

for who you are, and we know, Father, that without the Holy Spirit, we are nothing we need.

We just solicit him to be participative here and

guard our thoughts and words that let the meditations of our heart and the words of our mouth be

acceptable in your sight, Father. We pray that you, through your Holy Spirit and through your word,

would open these scriptures to us that we might more fully apprehend what you have for us this night as we commit

this night and ourselves into your hands in the name of our coming king indeed Jesus of

Nazareth our kinsman redeemer amen okay we are in chapter nine and we're going to hit head on the conversion of this radical

persecutor of the church by the name of Saul.

In chapter 1, of course, we had the early marching orders, the appointment of Matthias and the

Pentecost, the lame man healed, and so forth, and we went through chapter six, and we just finished a few sessions ago,

Stephen's incredible survey of the Old Testament.

And then last time we explored chapter 8, Philip and the Ethiopian treasure,

just to give you a perspective here.
