In the beginning of the pandemic, back when we thought COVID was only going to be two weeks,

I had come across this woman that just was so articulate and intentional and inspiring,

and just had- it's almost like she lived 100 years, right?

And I remember I was first introduced to Sister Angelica, or as popularly known as the

Village Auntie, in this Weta group that I was invited to during Ramadan.

I was like a bunch of sisters that came together and wanted to benefit each other.

Obviously because during this time we were having our first Ramadan in a pandemic, and

we all knew that Ramadan was going to feel a lot different.

And so some of the ways that we tried to remedy that was to start a group chat.

And I remember the sister would organize different events, and have different sisters come

on, and we would go on Zoom, and we would do like a workshop or a webinar or some sort

And I remember the week that Sister Angelica, or I like the car, is Auntie K. Maun.

And she was talking about- and this is the first time I've ever seen her.

I've never heard of her before that.

She was talking about self-love.

And she was talking about our religion in relation to it.

And it was a way I've never seen somebody do it before, right?
