Not only the same last name, but the same odd spelling and pronounced the same way, which is not

always the case. Very uncommon, I think. Most people would tend to say fray. Right. We'll say

fry. So that's... Do you know the background on yours? You know, I don't. I know.

The little I know is, I think it's a German last name. I was told that it means free.
