Good morning and welcome to our first service on Sunday mornings. We have two services, the first of which is the Bible prophecy update that we do weekly.

And then second service is the sermon. And last week, for those of you that know, we actually finished the book of Hebrews.

And today we're going to begin in the book of James. Can't wait. I really mean that. I'm salivating at the thought of teaching through the book of James. So today we are going to look at the good that trials produce in our lives. And if you can imagine this,

why it is that we should actually welcome them. I'm not feeling the love there.

Not just welcome them, but even consider them pure joy.

let's get started, have a lot to get to today. I need to take and tackle three tough topics concerning

what it is that's happening to us and even against us. And with the help of the Holy Spirit, I'll do so by asking and answering three

questions. And these are questions that I myself have been inquiring of the Lord as of

late, as it relates to everything that is now happening. Now, by way of a

preface, I need to say this. Please know that I'm in no way posturing myself as one who has

all the answers. I do not. Rather, I only seek to point you to the one who does.

And that's Jesus. Yeah. Praise the Lord, right? I hope, I pray, it is my hope, it is my prayer,

that all of us, myself included, will be encouraged

in the Lord and renewed in our strength from the Lord as we face that which seems to be ahead.

So with that, let's just jump right in and get to it. Question number one.

Why are those who are not born again coming out against the same things and saying some of

the same things that we as Christians are saying.

This is actually something I've been inquiring of the Lord about for quite some time now.

Specifically as it relates to the mandates and what's known as totalitarianism, which is dictatorial governmental control.
