Okay, Desi. This week we are going to be talking about another Los Angeles 1970 serial killer.

He is the third in the trilogy of Freeway Killers. Okay. Now we have already done episodes on the

other two Freeway Killers that were happening in Los Angeles in the 70s that was William Bonan.

We did him over a year and a half ago, I feel like, and Randy Kraft. Now this guy's name is

Patrick Kerny. And he was also, I mean, all of these killings were happening, overlapping each

other and all across LA County. So when police were investigating any of these crimes, it was like,

okay, is this like this Freeway killer or that Freeway killer? Is this the same guy?

Like, they were all just like, oh, it's another Freeway killer because basically they would,

they were called that because they would dump their victims off the side of highways in various

parts of Los Angeles and sometimes Orange County, Riverside County, just like all along the

Southern California areas. Okay. So let's talk about Patrick Kerny's early life.

Patrick Kerny was born in Los Angeles on September 24th, 1939, to George and Eunice Kerny.

His dad was a police officer and his mother was a stay-at-home mom. Patrick was the oldest of three

boys. Now Patrick was not popular growing up. He was subjected to some pretty cruel taunting by
