3:20.6 | Hey, everybody welcome back to the fill craft survival podcast. I'm your host Mike G. I'm back from the go rig challenge. |
3:30.6 | I want to say it was a challenge indeed. Hey, you know, today's podcast we're talking about tacticians and I wanted to kind of articulate and talk up a little bit more in depth about some things that I discussed on social media about the three types of tacticians. |
3:47.6 | And I'm doing this live on Instagram as well. So if you're tuning in at the end of the podcast, I'll ask questions. |
3:57.6 | So tacticians, I was driving on the go rig challenge had plenty of time to think about a lot of stuff, which is great. It's an opportunity for me to kind of decompress, but also spin some spin some wheels and think about some processes in business and life, etc. |
4:14.6 | And I think I was in the back roads of Utah and started thinking about the tactical space. And you know, if you guys follow me on Instagram at mic.a.glover, you know, I'm not a big fan of the industry, the gun industry and the tactical industry. |
4:34.6 | The reason that is is because I spent obviously I spent a lot of time in special operations. I've actually been in the shot show several times representing US Army special operations command and can tell you that a lot of the things that the industry does takes advantages or takes advantage of the members of special operations. |
4:57.6 | And I don't think that's debatable. Maybe maybe somebody who debates me doesn't understand the complexities of it and hasn't been prevy to those conversations or those types of things taking place, but I could tell you from personal experience, representing special operations command and the Army that does happen. |
5:16.6 | And it's not unexpected, right? It's a business, the tactical space, the gun industry is a business and it's for profit, right? Do you want to make money? |
5:26.6 | But the reality is there's a lot of convolution that's taking place in the tactical industry over who's the subject matter expert and also who civilians are listening to to get information. |
5:42.6 | And what you're seeing is a disinformation and miseducation that can translate into catastrophes and to dangerous things happening. |
5:52.6 | You know, one of the analogies that I spoke upon is like, hey, if you want somebody and they're doing retracted gun, let's say they're doing a retracted pistol from a draw. |
