Lord of the Flies by William Golding chapter 5. All right, our story picks up.

Now Jack Maridu and his hunters did let the fire go out. Right, this is where last part left off. Now, Chapter 5 picks up. It's pre-meeting time,

okay? Ralph, he's got to get Madigeria on this one. He's down by the lagoon, by base camp. He's collecting his thoughts. Now this is a child with

no managerial experience. He also was in a plane crash like four months ago, maybe three months ago. If he gets out of this this will be a good

resume boost to be like I was it a plane crash and then I ran a bun like 30 under 14 year olds and we got rescued from a desert island. I mean that is this is if

he could pull this off but this is his first real sticking point here.

If you're gonna look at the other kids as employees he's to round them up, we got to have a meeting here.

Ralph get these thoughts in order.

Now in his head, Ralph is noticing little imperfections because he's nervous,

like little things he's picking at, like my hair's too long my this

this shirt sucks it's gray this is no good he just can't control his

thoughts because he knows that this meeting has to go well and has to be organized and he has to make

people get back on his team and understand that the fire is very important.

But he loses faith in himself so as he's collecting his thoughts by the lagoon he

ends up doing a thing where he makes himself kind of mad and almost indignant to

get himself worked up to get momentum for the meeting it's like it's almost like you know what I'm so tired of this

anyway he uses anger for courage to be able to go public speak so Ralph gets

himself ready one way or another. Now the setup he wants for this lagoon

meeting that needs to go well he sets it up like a Wall Street boardroom

lighting meeting a boss and I think it was like the rescuers down and under. I don't when I was a kid, every cartoon villain who smoked a big

cigar had this office set up where he's behind a desk and he's backlit where you can't see him and it was pre-planned for intimidation.
