0:39.0	For certain types of businesses to present an accurate report of earnings potential for people who are in need
0:44.8	of a stream of income. Too many times have certain business models taken advantage of people who are
0:50.0	desperate. In this climate, where the world has been shaken, job scarcity and
0:55.2	fear have more people than ever searching for a new way to put food on the table.
1:00.0	Too many times have people been misled by false or deceptive earnings claims.
1:04.4	The business models in question include delivery services, online business coaches,
1:08.9	and most importantly, multi-level marketing. The purpose of the FTC's proposed rulemaking is to
1:15.1	prevent more people from being scammed into funneling their money into a
1:18.4	business opportunity without all of the facts beforehand. If this rule is implemented, it could help hundreds of thousands of people,
1:25.8	keeping many from going into debt or getting involved in situations
1:29.2	they cannot financially maintain.
1:31.6	In the world of anti-MLM, our biggest goal is to educate and inform.
1:36.0	This rulemaking could change the game for potential victims of multi-level marketing schemes.
1:41.0	The FTC has given the public 60 days to submit comments on this
