Summary

If you have any hint of despair, discouragement, or are feeling stuck, or things are not going as you thought they would be — the Father is saying today to you: "I love you; I see you."

In this episode, Sr. Mary Grace, Sr. Ann Immaculée, Sr. Marie Veritas, and Sr. Catherine Joy Marie look at the Gospel of the Fourth Sunday in Lent, exploring how Jesus is the light and desires to meet us in places of darkness (Jn 3:14-21). We settle for a flashlight and God wants to give us the sun. Jesus comes to save us - that's what He wants.  He desires to come into your personal hell and lift you up. Every heart is created with a crave for God. He wants to satisfy our deepest longing, and He allowed Himself to be wounded so there is a way for us to come into His Heart.

It's so great to live with you all. Well, and the cool thing is about the four of us now here is that actually sister and Emecule and Sizakad and Joy and myself, we went through and survived formation together, which is awesome. So we are loaded with stories that we will keep to a minimum this time. But talking about just communio and as we go through Lent together, and we were talking about recently, I don't know if you remember, but in Poshiancy, just the extremities of what you can experience within community life. You know what, what is good for someone is like the worst thing for another. And I think something happened around our retreat in Poshiont that sisters, you'll have to help me out, that was just a perfect display of this. Yeah, no, totally. We had a fun. We were laughing about this the other day. So the day before we started our five-day silent retreat, we went to the bowling alley to go bowling, but for some reason we couldn't bowl. I can't remember what it was. I'm not sure where the bowling alley was closed that day, but... So then we decided to go laser tagging. So much better than bowling anyway. Yeah, zipped our black sweaters up over our mock neck shirts. Cool. Yeah. Because it's black light laser tag. Which was actually, that was a lot of fun and I think for everyone it was a lot of fun. But then after we finished the retreat. So picture this. You've just been on five days. Total silence. You know, you're kind of, no one else is interrupting. You're doing prayer periods. It's very low key. And then you come off. What's the first thing you want to do when you come off a silent retreat? Just kind of ease back in. We were taken to the circus, which was awesome.

2:25.5

And was hard for others. It was a confirming grace for me. It was a very hard day for me.

2:33.3

There you go. That's awesome. You loved it. I loved the circus. Oh my gosh. Have you always

2:38.4

loved the circus or this was like a surprise? You love the circus? No, I think I've always

2:42.3

loved the circus. I think the first circus I went to, I was very, very little and I decided that

2:46.5

I wouldn't mind joining the circus one day. Okay. That's awesome. And I've acquired some good circus acts myself, but it really was like the delight of the circus,

2:56.3

like the excitement.

2:58.2

I just didn't ever think I would do that again as a sister.

3:01.7

Ever.

3:02.2

And so the fact that after our first time going on a silent retreat, that that is how it would end, was like, Jesus, you are the hundredfold. That's awesome. That's so awesome. Meanwhile, this is Drian? I'm like, I still say yes. I choose this with all my might. That's awesome. And you know it's so funny, too, like I have never done laser tag or gone to the

3:24.5

circus as a sister ever. So I'm like, you guys really special, special week. Special training.

3:31.8

That's amazing. Isn't it funny how like one, I used to the pool I used to work at before I entered?
