All right, good morning and welcome for those of you online. This is our second service on Sunday morning.

We have two services, the first of which is the Bible prophecy update that we do weekly, and now second service, which is the sermon.

And today's text is going to be chapter 12 verses 4 through 13.

The writer of Hebrews continues, and by the Holy Spirit writes, verse 4, in your struggle against sin, you have not yet resisted to the point of shedding

your blood. And verse 5, have you completely forgotten this word of encouragement that addresses

you as a father addresses his son? It says, my son, do not make light of the Lord's

discipline and do not lose heart when he rebukes you because the Lord disciplines the one he loves. And he chastens everyone.

He accepts as his son. Endure hardship as discipline, verse 7. God is treating you as his children. For what children are not disciplined by their
