Well, good morning and welcome to our second service.

Apologize for the late start.

On Sunday mornings we have two services, the first of which is devoted to Bible prophecy

where we have our weekly prophecy update.

And the second service is the sermon.

It's our verse by verse study through God's Word.

We're currently in the book of Hebrews.

In today's text is going to be chapter 11, two

verses again only. You'll see why, verses 30 and 31. So I'll ask those of you that are here

if you're able. You can stand. You can follow along as I read. If not where you're seated is fine.

Again, we're only going to take two verses today.

Been really looking forward to this. Verse 30, the writer of Hebrews by the Holy Spirit writes,

By faith, the walls of Jericho fell after the army had marched around them for seven days.

By faith, verse 31, the prostitute Rahab, because she welcomed the spies was not killed with those who were

disobedient. Let's pray if you would please join with me. Father in heaven, thank you.

Lord, we need for you at this time, as only you can, by the Holy Spirit,

to get our attention and to keep our attention so we can focus on what you have for us here in your word today. Lord, in

just these two verses there is so much that I believe you have to say to us a word for

us. So Lord, we're going to listen to you as you speak into our lives. We pray.

In Jesus' name, amen. And amen, you can be seated. Thank you. So I want to talk with you today about just how dramatically our Christian lives could change

if we would but mix our faith with action. In the text before us, the writer of Hebrews enters into what we affectionately

referred to as the Hall of Faith, the actions surrounding Jericho. And by the way, for those of you that are interested,
