0:50.6 | map onto physiology, to energy in our body, to shifts in neurotransmitters or different hormones. |

1:01.6 | And really, simply as we often describe, our subconscious mind has quite literally |
1:06.9 | imprinted all of our life's experiences, in particular, our early experiences. |
1:13.0 | So those shifts in neurotransmitters and hormones that were most consistently present in our |
1:19.6 | childhood, in many ways become our familiar home. It's what our mind and body have grown used to. |
1:25.9 | And if you've heard us speak about the subconscious mind in the past, we again acknowledge that our |
1:31.2 | subconscious loves that habitual familiarity, because it gets to predict and anticipate exactly |
1:37.6 | what happens next, of course, based on what had happened in those early past experiences. |
1:43.2 | And when we don't have that sense of familiar stress hormones or whatever other neurotransmitter, |
1:49.2 | it might be that as your particular familiar home, we feel different, we feel uncomfortable, |
1:54.8 | and we feel then driven, compelled by that subconscious part of our mind, to return to that |
2:00.5 | familiarity, again, giving us that false sense of control and that false sense of security. |
