So for those who don't know, like you and I were just talking about earlier, everybody throws out the name John C. Bennett. We know him as a scoundrel, right? That's the name that gets

thrown around because of the book, the saintly scoundrel. But John C. Bennett is sort of the man,

the myth, and the legend to me. I got to read an early draft of your article, which was fantastic,

and it was interesting for me because I was sort of torn on who this man really is and what he was really about because there's so much, I think, mythos attached to him as almost this storybook villain.
