I'm your host, Lindsay.

We're going to you another episode in the Year of Polygamy series where we try to understand and untangle the practice of Mormon

plural marriage. And one of the things that we haven't talked a lot about, but I've tried to bring

it in whenever possible, is the story of people of color in the church. Now, of course, the church is a global church.

The majority of Latter-Dy Saints are not white U-Tons.

However, the majority of our history has been focused on white Mormon utons.

And while that history is fascinating, we've covered a lot of it, whenever possible,

I want to remind listeners that there is an entire movement happening in different parts of the

world that we are not aware of, multiple movements. And so I'm so excited to bring on a fantastic

historian, Amanda Hendrix Komodo, who I just think is one of the
