Yep, what's going on y'all?

We're back another chapter of the Need to Know podcast. I go by the name's Save on one-third of this conglomerate. Yo, it's your boy, Ed. And we got the beautiful, the exquisite, the regular. That's what they're calling it. Right? Yeah, I'm not going to lie to you. We kind of got worse as last week. I think last week we didn't take it as serious. I didn't personally take it as serious. I know I saw the numbers. I saw the statistics, but I feel like the media especially,

we have to kind of, we have to look at it with our third eye open, right?

We went to school for it, we kind of know the ends and outs of it to a degree.

So it's like, for me, I know the media tries to instill fear.

Exactly.

So at the first sign of like, oh my God, they're trying to bring this to my attention to make me fearful of it. I kind of went the other way. I said, man, fuck that shit. Mm-hmm. But now the number's out. And now you see the mask. We're wearing gloves in the studio. We got hand sanitizer. My lip accidentally just touched a mic. Oh, you fucked up. I hope I don't get a bum bum. Oh, yeah. Yeah, like it's kind of crazy. It's wild. Now, you're getting tested right after this, all right? I'm not playing with you. Go to go to urgent care real quick. Oh my God, nah. But do you guys know what a pandemic actually is? Yeah. I mean, I didn't know before this.

If I'm being honest, honestly, I'm going to be completely like transparent throughout this episode because I learned a lot this like past week.

First of all, the coronavirus did exist before this.

I think we kind of touched on that last week.

I didn't know that.

Pandemic, I heard it sounds like a state of panic, but I didn't know exactly how deep it was. Quarantine. The fucking word quarantine just came out of nowhere. We only hear that. And it's in my vocabulary extensively. I had no idea what the fuck it was. Oh, yeah? You only hear quarantine in like zombie movies. Yeah. that's never been to war? Have I been to war? Not in this life time. Oh. You never play no zombie movies? I mean, zombie games? I have. Like, like, PlayStation 2 vibes. Left for dead. Yeah, you had to quarantine yourself from the zombies. Did you take place during war time? Listen, Call of Duty had a bunch of storylines. But that's what I'm saying. Like the word, these words are just now in my vocabulary. And up until this point, I never really had to use them. Yeah. So it's making me feel like outside of just the media trying to, uh, the propaganda within the media, it makes me feel a little bit, I won't say fearful, cautious. Cautious, yeah.

I think knowing the meaning of a word

can help you sometimes, because sometimes

when you hear a word just said over and over and over again,

you don't really know what it is, right?

So the reason this is not an epidemic

is because an epidemic is a widespread occurrence

of an infectious disease in a community

at a particular time.

So if this was just happening in like New York or Queens or Manhattan, it would be an epidemic.

A pandemic is a little bit more serious.
