I came from a logging town. I have done every job in the logging industry from fueling up log trucks

to changing log truck tires to running every piece of equipment in the mill to sharpening the

saws to cut the logs, trees down to hauling them to the mill. I've done every bit of it and I love the work.

Listen with an open mind and I'm going to try to explain in the brief time that we have here. Just listen to how the system works.

How do he said only 2% of Texas is public land and we in the state of Texas think that's 2% too much.

Now sportsmen have a whole different view of this issue.

Now they're going, well, well, wait a minute. Only 2% of Texas, the biggest state in the nation is public land.

I would be pissed off as a resident of Kansas. If this all of a sudden Montana got to have all that land for themselves

that I currently have a right to. It's sort of like a guy, a rich man,

give it transferring his house to me. It's like great thanks but with that comes the mortgage.
