happy midweek. How's everybody doing? What have you guys been watching? Who has seen

Final Destination Bloodlines? Because I have. I definitely fucking have. And what a beautiful

addition to the franchise, I think, honestly. We waited 14 years for a new installment

because Final Destination 5 came out in 2011, which yes, it's disgusting to say that that was 14 years

ago. It's fucking insane. So this has been long awaited and I, overall, I really enjoyed it.

I don't think it's the best one in the franchise.

I put it somewhere like right in the middle.

So my new ranking would be Final Destination 2, then 1, then 3, then this one, 6, then 5, then 4.

So it's kind of right in the middle for me.

However, the opening scene in this one is one of my favorite openings in the whole franchise behind the second

movie because that one with the log truck is just so fucking iconic. And Tony Todd's speech,

you guys, like I, as I was watching it, I'm like, I feel like this is just him ad libbing. And sure

enough, I found out that it was. So essentially when he signed on to this and the writer slash director found out that he was

sick, they kind of like scrapped the script as a whole, like his part of it at least and told him,

like, we want you to say whatever you want to say because like they knew and he knew that this was

going to likely be his last role. And his monologue is beautiful because it's really just him saying goodbye

not only to the franchise, but like to the fans and to cinema period. And I'm going to start

crying again. But I was in absolute fucking shambles. It was so beautiful. And it made the whole

movie worth it. If you ask me, that alone. So yeah, highly recommend, especially if you're a fan of

the Final Destination franchise,

there is some really silly CGI moments in there, which like I think were a little bit over the top.
