All right, folks welcome to the team VTAC podcast. I'm your host Kyle Lamb. Once again, I have found myself sitting by a fire was some of the guys that I have sat by the fire with before some of the guys I served with in the military and our special guest Jerry Mitchellic. Did I say that right, Jerry? You were right on brother. You did good. You know, I got you down. I was I was doing a doing a what was I doing? Something where I had to introduce Lena.

And the guy there said, say the name, and I said, Mitchellic, they go, no, that's not right. It's Michelic. And I said, no, I think it's Michelic. And we got into an argument. And I said, well, he goes, well, who told you to say it that way? And I said, Jerry. Mitchellic. And then. So I said it the way that I wanted to say it, which is that is that correct? Okay, excellent. Excellent. Excellent. John Burns. He used to be with Montana arms. But he's recently.

He really moves to Wyoming arms. It's a lateral transfer. Yeah. Yeah. And Colonel Lynn Ashley retired one each. Yep. Retard working for FN now. That's right. And you know, Lynn, we kind of put him on the spot here because he's probably listened to more podcast of ours than the other folks on this podcast. But we're going to do a do a visit, a battlefield visit.

That didn't come together yet. So instead we came to Wyoming to hunt. White tails and elk. Jerry came along. And for those of you guys out there, there's probably at least one of you. No, there's probably not, but I'm going to say this anyway, there might be one, maybe one listener doesn't know who Jerry is. So Jerry is the greatest revolver shooter of all time.

You don't have to agree with that. Jerry, it doesn't matter. This is my show. So you don't have to agree with that. So it's, it's awesome to have you won out here hunting with us. And two, it's awesome to have you sit down for a minute. And really this whole week is kind of been like a podcast for us, you know, um, how did you get roped into this thing coming out here?

Uh, Nephi invited me and I'm a sucker for a hard time. So no, I was excited to come out. I knew you guys were going to be here. I've never really had a chance to ever visit with you. We worked together a few times. I've seen your airports were passing. Yeah.

And stuff like that, but never had a chance to really sit down and meet everybody that's going to be here. So I was excited just about doing that. So I can get away from work. I don't have to worry about a cell phone too much and just make some noise. Have fun.

Yeah. And it's been, it's the, the first night that we, that we linked up at camp, Lynn went out into a stand with Jerry. He comes back and I go, what do you think he goes, dude?

I was sitting in a deer stand with Jerry Michelick. And I'm like, yeah, but you see any deer. He goes, dude, I was sitting in a deer stand with Jerry.

That's right. I mean, you know, from someone that grew up reading about, you know, Jerry and his exploit says a revolver shooter and everything. And then all of a sudden, boom, I'm sitting in a deer stand with Jerry Michelick.

Yeah, yeah. And he wasn't about seeing deer. I was just, you know, I really started to reach over there and like, take a selfie. Just remind myself that it really happened. Yeah.

But no, that's a highlight of the trip. And, you know, we actually saw one deer. Well, we did. We saw a little spike come up there for a little bit, but I was still tempted. Wait till Jerry was looking out the window and go, you know, the big.

Take that photo just just to prove that I was sitting in a stand with the greatest revolver shooter of all time, you know, Kyle wanted to take that away from you.

The stand stand for my phone. No, that's stand.

He's asking, where are we going to set everybody up? And I said, well, I think Kyle and Jeff will go into this stand and Lynn and Jericho in this stand. And Kyle's like, well, what about me and Lynn?

And I was like, Linda wants to know stand with you.

And it was you were right. That's right. Yeah, you're absolutely right. We're going to say anything, but I was there.

So we ended up not getting into deer that first night, but the deer. It was pretty much self defense.

And some of the areas you had to defend yourself. It was righteous.

So the plan out here for us was Nephi invited us. John Burns, of course, was involved in this whole fiasco as well. And then Mike Schmidt, am I saying that right?

Yes. So we went to his place first. And we had, they're not really deportation tags. They're just do fawn tags for deer.
