I'm excited to talk about this because it's

very different from Raiders of the Lost Ark and just kind of like, dive right in. I don't think

I had seen Temple of Doom in maybe like 15 years. Like maybe like as we talked about in the

previous episode, it wasn't the one I watched

a lot as a kid. I remembered vaguely like a hand going into somebody's chest and pulling out a

heart. I remembered a rope bridge scene that for some reason I feel like I always see on TV

when I'm visiting my mom.

That's like the association I have for that scene and the musical number opening it.

And basically, besides that, I remembered nothing about this movie.

So it was really fascinating to go on the ride again.

also there's like even greater whiplash because so much of what Raiders is is not a Temple of Doom,
