0:59.0	Yeah, tell me about yourself, your background and what you're currently up to.
1:04.0	Sure.
1:07.0	So, background.
1:09.0	I've done medical research in a ton of different areas over the years.
1:13.0	I have a PhD in neurophysiology and thought I wanted to do the academic route that all PhDs do.
1:20.0	But it was pretty miserable and I found very quickly that I'm not really wired for that.
1:26.0	But I did, I did try it.
1:28.0	I worked in academia for a long time doing medical research on cancer and radiation biology.
1:33.0	Our thritis, neuro trauma was a big one.
1:36.0	That was my primary passion and still is.
1:39.0	But we were looking at a lot of different things over the years and then transitioned into working at a medical school teaching medical students, which I love, I love to teach.
1:47.0	But again, it just felt kind of claustrophobic and not really not a lot of room to innovate believe it or not in the traditional medical world.
