Now, just before we start on this July 4th special podcast, Luther, you know there is a theory out there on the internet that you don't exist.

Well, aren't you?

No.

Oh, yeah, that's right.

But you could.

I don't think I could.

That's the thing.

I can do various accents, but my American accents aren't good,

and I don't

think I could get your particular Midwestern approach to speaking.

Why don't you think you can make a good American accent? Is it because it matters too much to you?

Like, you want it perfect, or what?

Partly, I also think that Americans would notice that it wasn't good.

Maybe all my other accents aren't good, too, but because I'm doing them before people

who aren't from that place, then it doesn't matter.
