Welcome to the dirty sports podcast, I'm your host Andy Roother, come into your life from Cincinnati, Ohio with my co-host from Los Angeles, California.

Joey, no chill brainer. Hello, Andy. Good evening. You beat me to it. Good evening, man. We're doing another late night podcast.

1:06.0

I'd love to see how many podcasts I got to think that the most historically rare podcast is the Monday evening podcast.

1:19.0

It's got to be the most historically rare in dirty sports. I think the Sunday evening, because we're not around Monday, the Wednesday evening, because we're not around Thursday.

1:33.0

The Thursday evening, because you know, Thursday, we, whatever, but the actual Monday evening podcast got to be rare, got to be rare for us.

1:42.0

I got to say it was so, I feel like it's so rare for me that today, because dirty sports was late, it felt like a Thursday.

1:52.0

Yeah, that makes sense. I can see that. It is rare. I could probably say without a doubt, it's the most rare Monday night time we recorded.

2:06.0

Yeah. On Monday episodes, I excuse me, like on Monday episodes.

2:13.0

But you know, life happens. Yeah, you were busy today. And then I just asked for an extension, because you know what I just made for dinner Andy.

2:21.0

I made my signature, my Joe Prano signature chili. And I'm not sure if I ever mentioned this on this show. Do you know what the secret ingredient of the Joe Prano signature chili is?

2:33.0

Miller light. That's right. Now my question to you is you'd still eat that chili, right? Yeah, of course. Yeah, you're not like, I can't have alcohol.

2:42.0

I'm not one of those, not there's any wrong with that. I'm not one of those people that, like, can't be near it or have a sip. Like, I'll still be like, oh, how's that taste?

2:57.0

Like, I actually, I can do whatever I want. This was more of a life decision.

3:02.0

Yeah. And some Miller light makes sense in some chili. Certainly not going to give you a brain aneurysm.

3:07.0

No. And for the dirt balls, we're like, how does this signature chili work? Let me tell you, I'm not going to give away too many secrets. But before any of the really juicy ingredients go in before tomatoes go in before beans go in before anything that gives you chili, it's soupiness.

3:26.0

You know, I cook meat and they cook onions and I cook that today was turkey chili courtesy of butcher box, courtesy of butcher box, some, some ground turkey.

3:38.0

A lot of people like to slow cook that stuff because, you know, they don't want to burn, say the green peppers or the whatever. I don't fuck with that.

3:51.0

When I keep it nice and hot and when I feel like it's getting too hot, we cool it down the same way I cool myself down to the summer baseball game, the splash of Miller light.

4:01.0

So how long does your chili take to make?

4:03.0

Well, you know, that's a, that depends on what kind of time I have, you know, I can make a very like I can make a long haul chili. Hey, we're going to keep this on the stove top all day.
