0:21.9	But for today, in his absence, we will conduct our first teaching this morning at this
0:28.3	time and invite you to open your Bibles to the Old Testament book of Ezekiel. We will be reading from verses 1 through verse 8. And if you're able to stand, please
0:42.5	do so for the reading of the scriptures this morning. Again, Old Testament book of Ezekiel.
0:52.2	Starting in verse 1, as the Word of God reads, Now some of the elders of Israel came to me and sat before me.
1:00.8	And the word of the Lord came to be saying, Son of man, these men have set up their idols in their hearts and put before them that which causes them
1:13.4	to stumble into iniquity. Should I let myself be inquired of at all by them? Verse 4. Therefore,
1:21.6	speak to them and say to them, thus says the Lord God, every one of the house of Israel who sets up his idols in his heart
1:31.2	and puts before him what causes him to stumble into iniquity and then comes to the prophet,
1:38.0	I the Lord will answer him who comes according to the multitude of his idols, that I may seize the house of Israel by their
1:46.1	heart because they are all estranged from me by their idols in verse 6. Therefore say to the
1:53.6	house of Israel, thus says the Lord God, repent. Turn away from your idols and turn your faces away from all your abominations.
2:03.9	And verse 7, for anyone of the house of Israel or of the strangers who dwell in Israel,
2:10.4	who separates himself from me and sets up his idols in his heart and puts before him
2:16.9	what causes him to stumble into
2:18.8	iniquity, then comes to a prophet to inquire of concerning me, I the Lord will answer him
2:26.5	by myself. And verse 8, I will set my face against that man and make him a sign and a proverb and I will cut him off from the midst
2:36.1	of my people. Then you shall know that I am the Lord. Why don't we pray?
