Hey, what's happening, guys?

Just sitting down to record a solo bonus episode of Eastman's Elevated.

So this week, the theme of the podcast, I always like it to be pertinent to what us backcountry hunters are up to.

And right now we're just coming into spring bear season.

And I absolutely love spring bear season.

I fell in love with it probably 10 years ago, maybe even longer, but I've been chasing

these bears every spring since.

I love chasing them with my bow out here in Montana at Spot and Stock.

But I'm going to try to do a good job of explaining hunting bears from my experience in different places and different habitats and break down locating

them and making stocks and making plays and if if you're not a bear hunter or you don't have any

interest in hunting spring bears it's still a great podcast well I't recorded it yet. I'm hoping it's a great podcast,

but there's just so much information that applies to different hunting across the west as far as

vantage points and locating more game animals. There's just, there's less predators than there are

prey animals. And so like when you're hunting

bears a predator, you know, you have to be really good at locating them and finding them. And it,

it takes a lot of effort to figure out what they're doing and, and where they like. And you can

transpose a lot of that information into your deer hunting, into your elk hunting, you know, hunting any animal across the West. So if you're not a bear hunter or not bear

hunting this year, it's still going to be a good podcast. I hope. No guarantees. You never know

what it's a solo one, where I'm going to go with what tangent. But it ought to be fun.
