Now, it's not often that a brand new product or idea is received almost universally well

by the Pinkers, and especially not when that product completely disregards existing standards

and proposes an entirely new way of looking at things.

But that's exactly what happened last week

when Cedric Evelet debuted his wild-looking Supra drive train

that ditches the usual low-hanging derailer

in favor of a mini-deraler of sorts

and some sort of clever spring-loaded tensioning device

at the bottom bracket.
