| 0:00.0 | Welcome to the History of English Podcast, a podcast about the history of the English language |
| 0:15.1 | and the people who contributed to that history. |
| 0:18.4 | Over the last few episodes, we've looked at the oldest known ancestor of English. |
| 0:23.0 | The ancient Indo-European language called Proto-Indo-European Bilingualist. |

| 1:36.6 | And while some linguists and historians may still disagree with some aspects of this |
| 1:40.8 | theory, the theory that I'm presenting in this episode is the majority view today. |
