Summary

Chance was hiking with his dad and cousin while on vacation in Hawaii as a teenager. They had just visited the Kilauea Iki Crater and were headed back up when he decided to try to run ahead. Chance had only run ahead for a few minutes when suddenly he found himself transported to a completely different area, somewhere in the jungle, surrounded by a fence on all sides. He reflects on this instance of missing time and the strange boy he met while he was missing.

1:21.0	I think this is probably going to draw out some similar stories from people who have experienced something bizarre like this on their own.
1:31.0	At least that's my hope because I think this is really up there in terms of a topic that people are most self-conscious about discussing.
1:42.0	At least discussing their own experience because when you tell it to somebody, it's really hard.
1:49.0	It's just really, really hard. I think you'll understand why, but if you're not the person it happened to, it could be very, very hard to describe the reality of it.
1:59.0	But I have a very strong suspicion we're going to be getting a lot more stories about this topic.
