Hello?

Hello, Sydney.

Hello, people. Welcome back to you another episode of the Hello Sydney podcast, a podcast for

horror lovers where we discuss any and all things horror. It's me, you girl, Sydney. I'm currently

stuck inside as there is a blizzard going on, so what better time to film a podcast episode? Am I right?

Now, there's four people in the world that when I refer to these people, I refer to them as

our Lord and Savior.

One is Phil Collins.

Don't ask questions.

Just accept it.

Two is Stephen King.

I am a diehard Stephen King fan.

Three is our Lord and Savior Tony Todd.

For obvious reasons, I don't think I need to explain that any further.

And the fourth, which is the

most recent one I added to the list, is Mike Flanagan, our king and our lord and savior, Mike Flanagan.

If you're not familiar with Mike Flanagan, which A, you must be living under a rock, B, he's done some of probably the greatest horror of the last decade. So that includes

Ouija Origin of Evil, Dr. Sleep, and my personal favorite show of all time, The Haunting

of Hill House, which is absolutely iconic. And one of his earlier films is a little movie

called Oculus, and that ladies and gentlemen is what we are going to be discussing today.

When I do a ranking of Mike Flanagan's work, I put this one in my top five, if not my top

three, and that's really saying something, because again, I'm a diehard Flannistan, and I love
