So today I want to talk about following your dreams and living your best life when you don't

So I got to be honest, I've been very, very lucky and very blessed in my life that I've been

surrounded by good people, right? I was raised by an amazing mom who taught me that I could do anything that I wanted to do, loved me, supported me, even though half the time I think she was just fucking terrified at what my next move was going to be. But she's always been really supportive. She's probably sat back and kind of like,

you know, been biting her nails behind the scenes like, oh my God, what is she doing now? But she has

never, ever, ever told me there was anything I couldn't do, never made me feel bad for anything that I

wanted to do. I have good friends. But I have been faced with people, just like we all have, right, because we're all human,

who have doubted me in the past, who have said things to me in the past. Like, you should be more

realistic about your goals and your dreams. I had someone tell me when I left my job at MTV

to kind of pursue all of this full time. He said to me, you should get a part-time job, you know, just so you can afford to do things like get your nails done. And I was like, what? Like in my mind, I've always been an all or nothing kind of girl, right? If I want to do something, I am going all in. I don't let those doubts creep in. I kind of almost like in a scary way

have these blinders on where I'm like, this is it. It's got to work. There is no option to fail.

And I think that's a great quality, although it can be, I understand, scary for the people around me

who are like, oh my God, she's like a runaway train. But it works, right? But it is not to say that the people who are around me who sometimes
