0:17.0 | It is a monologue. It is just me, just me talking to just you and a few of your closest friends. |
0:25.0 | Because there's a topic that I wanted to present that I can do better just speaking and not trying to be conversational. |
0:32.0 | Because when I'm being conversational, I often lose my train of thoughts and I forget what I wanted to say. |
0:36.0 | And this is good stuff and it's also an area that I do a lot of reading on and Sky is less interested in it. |
0:44.0 | So I don't know if he would have anything to say. It's not that they got mad at me or stormed off. |
0:49.0 | Christian is actually in Rhode Island of all places at a lacrosse camp with her son and Sky's in town, but he's hanging out with Starbucks or something else. |

1:03.0 | But what I wanted to talk about is we've been talking about science and we've gotten into science a few times and talked about origins. |
1:10.0 | And this has led to a fair amount of chatter on our Facebook page and on my website of the usual when Christians start talking about origins. |
1:19.0 | We get to Genesis 1 and then we start talking about the age of the earth and then we start talking about well here's my theory. |
1:25.0 | But I read this and this guy said this and this other guy said that and I think this is wrong and he's not taking the Bible seriously. |
1:32.0 | And if we take the Bible seriously, then this is what we have to and then it's many people start to get a little heated and tempers flare. |
1:41.0 | And so anyway, I actually, this is one of my areas of personal interest. I'm not even sure why I've always been interested in science and was kind of a scientific little kid. |
1:52.0 | And so I read a lot of I remember coming home from high school in fact, high school biology and going to my mom and saying, mom, how does how does evolution fit into the Bible and my mom just staring at me saying I have no idea. |
2:05.0 | So I started reading and I've been reading about it ever since and it's it's interesting stuff and I think we need to jump into it a bit. |
2:11.0 | So we're going to do that today, but I'm going to present some info kind of my thoughts over the last O 10 or 15 years of reading and talking to people about this. |
2:21.0 | But we still need the theme song, even though it's just me. So I'll do it real fast though. |
