Hi, Emily. Hello. Welcome to Is This Real Life? Thank you so much for having me.

I actually watched The Bachelor with you, I think a couple months ago. Maybe it was like six weeks ago with some of the other Washington Post recapers and it was pretty hilarious. Yeah, it's really fun. Normally we don't recap it every

season, but this year we started to do weekly recaps with a group of us for The Post and it has been

quite entertaining. Are you sad it's over?

Kind of, I kind of feel like it's a Stockholm syndrome type thing where at first it's really hard to

watch it every week, especially this season, which didn't have the most charismatic Bachelor,

I would say. But now that it's over, I think I'm kind of going to miss it.

I know.

Well, before we get started, I was wondering, if you could use one word to describe this season,

what word would you use?

Well, I think I'm going to take a word from Lauren, who I guess is now sort of the winner

of The Bachelor, and just say, wow, wow, wow. That would be my description of this season, which was

pretty special. So this week was insane because we had five hours. That is a long time to spend

watching a show, especially when you're watching someone you're not so fond of. It was a lot of Bachelor.
