When. When you when. By islanders well tonight we continue the case from last week of the murders of Lorraine Wilson and

Wendy Evans. Just before I start, most of tonight's episode has come directly from the coroner's

inquest. In fact, I'll be reading quite a bit directly from it.

Also I didn't mention it last week but there is a book you might be interested in by

Lorraine's brother Eric Wilson titled The Echo of Silent Dreams, which goes into the case and it was followed up by ricochet of echoes, which goes further into the Coronial Enquist.

Both of these books are out of print as I could see but I was able to buy them on Amazon for the Kindle. But before we get into part two tonight, I'll do a brief recap of last week's episode.

So Lorraine and Wendy were mates working and studying together at St George Hospital and in

August 1974 they decided to take holidays together after spending some time with their respective

families.

Lorraine and Wendy left Sydney where they took a bus tour together,

which took them from Sydney to Brisbane, Townsville, Mounteiser, Catherine, Darwin, and Alice Springs. They then headed to Lorraine's place in Dubbo.
