Summary

What an embarrassment for the Colorado Rockies. The organization handled an alleged racial slur at their game on Sunday as poorly as possible. A fan was yelling for mascot "Dinger" and they and others thought the fan was yelling a racial slur. Their statement after the game was embarrassing! I talk about that plus a statement by Tony Clark of the MLBPA which was just as bad. I also share a story about hanging with Peyton Manning one night in Indianapolis. 1:32.0	Boy what a situation on Sunday at the Colorado Miami-Marlins baseball game.
1:41.1	I'm sure you've heard by now right there was a fan sitting behind home plate and he
1:46.0	was yelling at the Rockies mascot Dinger but there were those and many that thought he was using the N word and making a racial slur towards the Marlin's Lewis Brinson.
2:01.3	Now a couple of things here. Number one, there was no reaction for many of the people sitting around this fan pointing at the mascot and using the word dinger the mascot name
2:16.4	Don't you think that if this fan were yelling a racial slur at a player on the field or anyone else in the stands that there would have
2:26.5	been a reaction from the fans in that area. Watch the video again. There was no reaction. The reason why there was no reaction is
2:37.7	because everyone there knew that the fan was saying Dinger. But that's not good enough in 2021 because we are
2:47.4	dealing with cancel culture. Let's not investigate, let's not really see what the hell happened, let's rush to judgment, and let's ruin an individual's life.
