And the government's working again, but I'm not real happy about it. I'm not happy either.

Yeah. I think it was a bad call on a lot of different levels.

And I think that they spent a lot of capital that they had built up already, which is stupid.

Yeah.

You know, this is a very confused.

I've got a few things I want to run by on this.

So like, this is a very confusing timeline for reopening, for vote for eight Democrats to come over and reopen the government. Say, hey, we're going to defect and reopen the government. I think it should be noted to that the eight Democrats that came over and said, we're going to vote to reopen the government. None of them are up for re-election in 2026. They're all safe. Well, a lot of them are,. Some are retiring, but some of them are like really far off. Right. And so I think it's, it's interestingly non-coincidental that the eight that came over, none of them are up for reelection in 26. Our own senator, Dick Durbin here in Illinois, who I've liked from time to time and disliked from time to time.

He's had good and bad days.

He was one of those.

He's retiring.

So he came over.

And this follows hot on the heels of a big Democratic wins all across the board in the election just the week prior.

Yeah, seemingly.
