We never went on a hiatus. That's kind of the misconception. We always kept playing I'm not making now

We weren't making records. We still played 50 75 shows a year, but I had a full-time job at Extra.

You know, some of the guys in my band after in the pursuit of leisure had kids and they're like,

you know, we want to slow down.

I think they kind of saw that the, excuse me, the writing was on the wall as well and they

they said to me we just don't want to be in a touring recording you know that the hurricane

in that cycle man we want to see the kids we want to just you know we've made a couple bucks and we just want to revisit it in this little bit.

Like, all right, let me see what's out there.
